Excellent effects with an ok flavour if you don't mind synthetic tastes

Previously I've taken creatine as unflavoured and just added it to protein shakes to blend it all in and make it easy to transport and drink but I thought I'd give this a try as an alternative method. As with all sugar free flavoured powders this does have that standard synthetic taste, not overly noticeable but there all the same so if you're looking for a tasty drink that powers your exercise routine this may not be what you're looking for, if you enjoy the synthetic taste of powdered drinks then this may well be right up your street.

As far as working for an increase in energy and alertness and aiding with muscle recovery goes it does what you'd expect, standard creatine/caffeine combo that hits the spot and keeps your training going with minimal downtime, just keep an eye on your caffeine intake as this has a fair amount in each serving so don't drink too many espressos at the same time or you'll be floating round your house at night like a hummingbird wondering why you can't sleep!

Overall this does the job, it gives you a boost for workouts and staves off fatigue afterwards but as for the flavour I'd say it's personal preference but I will probably stick to unflavoured versions and just blend them into my shakes.

To begin with, it tastes fine. I wouldn't say it's nice and I wouldn't say it's awful, it's just fine. Like most supplements, it tastes like a strong squash covering a supplement's note-so-great taste.

Second, the quantities are OK, but personally I need to almost double them up. 80mg of caffeine and 3.5grams of creatine is around 60% of what I typically take and so I generally have 1.5-1.75 scoops. I'd also say that you are forced to take this before a workout or in the morning as the caffeine will keep you up if taking it at night. The alternative is to have a plain creatine powder, but that sort of defeats the point for many, I'd guess.

I think for those wanting a creatine supplement they can take before workouts then this is a good option. It tastes OK and has decent enough quantities for many - for those who want more it's easy to boost the dosage slightly to arrive at what you need.

This product has the awful filler maltodextrin which upsets your blood sugar level, Other potential side effects include allergic reactions (rash, itching), digestive issues like gas, bloating, and diarrhea, potential negative impacts on gut bacteria, and possible weight gain. Also may decrease beneficial gut bacteria and increase harmful ones, potentially contributing to inflammatory bowel conditions and all the joys that brings.
