Why should you choose Vilgain Energy Gel? We combine three types of simple carbohydrates for maximum usability, electrolytes in a highly absorbable citrate form, and a pure formula with no artificial sweeteners or preservatives.

Glucose is absorbed into the bloodstream via the GLUT5 carrier [1]. However, if this carrier is busy, the body cannot release more glucose into the blood. That's why you'll also find dextrose and mango puree in our gel, which use an alternative transporter, GLUT2, to bypass GLUT5 blockage. We add high quality organic carbohydrate sources to the gel.

When we exercise for more than 90 minutes, we lose significant amounts of sodium, potassium and magnesium through sweating.
