Handy little shot. Great to take on the go.

It is quite sweet but the apple flavour is nice.

There is 12 bottles in the box and each is 60ml. 1-2 shots to be taken daily so 6-12 days supply.

I like the combination of collagen with glucosamine and chondroitin for the joints. There is also vitamin C (which is always recommended to take with collagen for better absorption) and copper.

It seems to be targeted for the footballers but I think anyone sporty with the very active lifestyle after certain age needs some extra support for the joints. Bovine collagen is said to be a slightly better option than marine collagen specifically for the joints (for the skin apparently the fish one is better), chondroitin here is from fish so good combination overall.

Only two things I am not too keen on, acesulfam-k in the ingredients and each bottle is wrapped plus also plastic lid is sealed, so extra plastic.

Very annoyed that there was nothing to alert that these expensive shots contain Bovine collagen (as well as fish). Wish I knew that before I drank one. The taste gives it away as there is a very "bone broth" flavour.

For me this is a major mistake as ther are a lot of collagen products that are suitable for vegetarians and those that are not usually mention it very clearly, not, like this product in tiny writing hidden away on the bottle - and when opening the bottle it means that one has to throw away all the information that is written on the same covering.

At a recommended dose of 2x per day this also works out as very expensive. Not recommended.

I much prefer liquid collagen as the taste is usually enjoyable and they seem to work better and absorb faster so I was looking forward to trying these.

When I first tried it the liquid tastes like acid.. or motor oil.. or like when you get soap or something you aren't supposed to ingest in the mouth and the weird and stingy flavour left an aftertaste for a little while, I took a few sips and left it there. Then when I tried it again a few hours later (after eating) it wasn't actually that bad while drinking but still had a bit of a gross, chemical aftertaste.

I normally take collagen in the morning on an empty stomach but maybe this particular flavour is a bit much for the still sleeping taste buds?

When it comes to ingredients they are quite good for those physically active and especially those with joint problems. The collagen peptides are great for the entire body from skin to bones and the added Vitamin C helps with its absorption. Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulphates help maintain healthy joins and fluid around them as well as help with joint related pain while copper is needed for connective tissues, brain, bones and so many more functions of the body.

Along with those helpful ingredients there are 22g of protein per 1 small bottle (60ml) and sugar content is below 1 gram.

Overall the ingredients are excellent but they should rework the flavour to not have it so chemical tasting, but maybe some will like it since everyone's preferences are different.

So I got this pack as my friend had told me about the benefits of collagen, with these you get glucosamine too. The taste isn't awful, but I wouldn't say it was particularly nice.

I play the drums and mountain bike and I find my joints take a pounding. In addition I badly sprained a finger which was causing a lot of difficulty trying to do anything - let alone biking and drumming!

I have taken one a day since receiving them and I genuinely think it's sped-up the healing. Naturally this could've been the same either way, but I’m going by how long these things usually take.

It will be interesting to see how I feel when these run out - will get more - I don't know yet….

I used to take a powder type collagen...ok to add to coffee or whatever....but for some reason it was just unpleasant. Found this product and it is perfect. I use a little less water than directed (which makes it sweeter - can't drink a lot of water early in the morning!), give it a bit of a froth with my handy little frother (!) and drink it to take my morning vitamins. I love it! Flavor is quite good and, combining the "tasks", kill two birds with one stone, if you will! Highly recommend it. Not really important but, bonus: packaging is more compact and "efficient" and is easier to take along when traveling! This is my second purchase of same.
