Great mass gainer and protein product, dissolves well with hot or cold water and great value for the price

First I should probably say I've only previously used plain whey powders. This is the first mass gainer I've tried, so I can't judge it's effectiveness against other offerings - however what I can say is this formula usually mixes well with either milk or water (I use a shaker), and to me the taste is fine (I buy strawberry). The texture is a little grainy compared to whey shakes, but I realised this is due to the oat flour (calories) and it doesn't bother me. The price also seems really quite reasonable compared to competitors, atleast for now.

I am a 71 year old male and have been losing weight, including muscle, over the past year. My appetite for food has decreased quite a bit. I have been taking this for over a week now and have put on a pound or two, including a pound of muscle. I had some bowel discomfort on the 3rd day, so now I just have 2 scoops in the morning and evening. I also make sure I have some fibre beforehand, like a bowl of cereal, to encourage the friendly, gut bacteria. This seems to work for me. I have the strawberry flavour. It dissolves quickly with no lumps and tastes quite nice. I would definitely recommend it.

I'm giving this a 5 stars but it should be 4....The weird lattice type seal on this Mass Gainer is a bad design...why not stick with the old snap seal...

It is not airtight so i moved it into a plastic container.....

Good value though...good taste and a good ratio of Carbs and Protein per serving..

Mixed at the recommended quantities you get a very sweet Chocolate-ish shake with more protein than you really need in a single serving and so maybe the 2kg bag isn't the value it seems at first. You need 3 scoops in 400ml of water which is quite a lot of powder but at least you can use water and don't need milk. It's very sweet at that concentration, from Sucralose rather than sugar, and you'll need a sweet tooth to really enjoy it, but it's drinkable.

I believe that most of us have digestive systems that can only deal with around 20g of protein at a time so a shake contain 32g of protein might not be the advantage it sounds. It's probably better suited to sipping over a couple of hours, maybe in your recovery period. Or you could shake it up in a lower concentration and get more benefit and better value out of the pack. Either way it's a very decent protein shake that's drinkable and well-tolerated.

Been using this for about 3 weeks now and it's honestly made a difference. I've always struggled to gain weight, especially with a fast metabolism, so I needed something with a good calorie and protein hit—this does the job.

One serving gives you a solid 478 calories and 31g of protein, which is perfect for getting that extra intake in without feeling like you’re forcing down loads of food. I usually take it once a day after workouts, sometimes twice on rest days if I need the boost.

Also a side note to mention is that with full fat milk it’ll boost the calories to 700 or so.

The strawberry flavour is actually decent—not too sweet or fake tasting like some others I've tried. Mixes well in a shaker with water or milk, no major lumps or chalkiness.

Haven't had any issues with digestion or bloating either, which is a big plus for a mass gainer. Energy levels have been up, and I've already noticed a bit more muscle fullness and some steady weight gain.

Very impressed! By both the flavour, and the packaging.

As strange as it may seem to point out, but the bag it comes in is designed in a way that the powder does not get stuck in the inside folds, and the resealing is very easy, even when it's a bit dusty.

Flavour wise, this is the best I've tried (banoffee), doesn't taste too artificial or too protein flavoured, and has a smooth texture to it when mixed in a standard shaker.

I found it clumps a bit if I put the powder in the shaker first, as most do, but putting milk in first (or water, whatever you choose) and then the powder eliminates this.

I have this on subscription to send 2 bags every 2 weeks, and that seems to be the sweet spot for me.
