I've taken this supplement for some days now and I'm beginning to notice some improvements in my digestion and general energy levels. Also, my recovery level after workouts just feels a bit quicker. Of course, these are all subjective changes and everyone has to experience these for themselves. However, as a general health supplement and especially for anyone with Candida or leaky gut syndrome, this is a super supplement to take on a daily basis as directed.

There's nothing to criticise about this product. It's pure l-glutamine powder with no additives, and it comes in a generously sized tub that contains a scoop so you'll always use exactly the right amount of the powder. I take glutamine immediately post-exercise, as it's the most abundant amino acid in muscle tissue and is the most crucial amino acid in muscle recovery after training. Lots of people take glutamine for a different reason: it is amazingly effective at healing / repairing intestinal issues such as leaky gut. There are many manufacturers offering glutamine in capsule form, but it's more cost effective to buy it in relative bulk such as this tub from 10X Athletic. Not only that, buying it in this form means you're getting a purer supplement - no additives, bulking agents, fillers or other such undesirable nonsense. Just pure amino-acid goodness. This is the way.

Take care how you open the pack, I thought the packaging was the whole outside as the tearing strip at the top wasn't obvious enough to me. I think it could do with that top bit being a bit more clear in that regard?

Glutamine itself: A lot of research it seems has been taking place, and there's not all that much concrete out there to justify inclusion in your diet. But if you're here, it's likely because you're interested. I have still gotten hold of this as I'm intrigued as to whether it may support some food intolerances I have developed. This may well take some time to see a difference or not, and it's going to take a little bravery to try!

This is an interesting supplement that I would recommend you research. I can't speak to the claims on the packet as unfortunately I mostly ripped it apart opening it. It does say 100% Vegan product but I don't see any verification of this (but again, ripped the packaging...)

60 servings in a pack - but you can take 3 on workout days. So depending on how much you use, will depend on its relative expense to you. It does appear to have been thoughtfully manufactured.

A new area of product research for me, though, which this product has indeed sent me on!

I was initially drawn into the value of this glutamine, and I have to say I am really pleased with the quality of the product as well. As with most glutamine, it is unflavoured as you generally mix this into a protein shake or similar. There is no weird taste to this you can't taste it at all which is great.

This glutamine is pharma grade, meaning that the raw ingredients meet pharmaceutical standards for manufacturing, this essentially means that the ingredients are high quality and have no fillers/binders or dodgy substances in the ingredients.

The packaging looks really nice and I am really pleased with the product.

I have been in the health food business for many years. As such I am always on the lookout for new brands. L Glutamine can be used for a variety of issues. I primarily use it for gut issues. Taking LG on an empty stomach can help heal leaky and inflamed guts. It can help diverticulitis conditions as it can help reduce inflammation. A side effect of such treatment is that it can also help a sluggish brain, as Glutamine can act as brain fuel. This supplement works very well. Two teaspoons on an empty stomach can help the gut. It must be taken away from food and it works very well to heal a leaky gut.

This product works very well and I am happy to recommend it.

My husband has been using this alongside the same brand of creatine.

He has said it is nice to use a powder form of glutamine which mixes well and is tasteless as he usually takes the tablet form of glutamine supplement.

Again this product has zero calories like the same brand of creatine. It is a product that has been tried and tested and comes at an affordable price.

I use glutamine on and off, depending really on how my training is going and how full on I am with nutrition. I got some of this as I have been trying to get over an injury and remembered that it's supposedly a good supplement to incorporate in the repairing of wounds and injuries. It's early days, but hopefully this will help boost recovery of this injury that just won't go away. Aside from that, it's supposed to help gut health and a healthy microbiome (and therefore immune system) along with inflammation, so it's always something that I can appreciate in my diet. This seems like a great quality glutamine powder - 60 servings, so quite good value and mixes well. I like the packaging too, easy to store and stack in my cupboard.
