USN Nine Aminos

It's nice but the aftertaste isn't so nice at all.. Usually buy another well known brand and I think I’ll probably stick to that one. Sorry I really wanted to like it.

It is so good to see this type of product in more unusual flavours rather than just the orange or berry options that you usually get. I also like the fact that this item doesn't contain caffeine, as it is not something I always want to take especially if I want to have this drink after I have finished my training session.

I wasn't completely sure what to expect from the jelly bean flavour but it is very pleasant and the powder dissolves completely which is a mega plus point for me, as I hate it when there are little particles left.

Most importantly USN Nine Aminos contains all the amino acids that I would wish to take and I know benefits me in my training and it is all in the one drink! The drink itself helps to ensure I stay hydrated through long sessions on the bike, it really does make the world of difference to my recovery. I also think it is very reasonably priced compared to some I have used in the past.

tasty and i like that this is an improved recipe that is made with coconut water powder. Easy to mix, drinkable in one go when mixed with water. I like it, for someone who trains every day - I need a good quality, and ideally - tasty BCAA amino acids & EAA product.

I've been using the USN Nine Aminos powder and it's great for recovery. The pineapple flavour is refreshing, and it helps with hydration after workouts. It's a good boost for both aminos and magnesium. Great value, recommended!

I've waited a month to review this, so I could go through the entire bottle. This is my thoughts so far, bearing in mind that I know more than one month and a balanced diet is needed to truly know whether anything has worked.

Also, make sure you check with your doctor before taking any supplements.

Before starting, I never took any supplements. I ate my meals in the day, hydrated at the rate I did and did very little to no exercise.

Now, my skin seems clearer and more elastic. Bowel movements more consistent. Energy levels, concentration and brain-fog feel improved.

So for me, I feel like it works.

But, it's not cheap in the current market and although a single dosage isn't much, over a year it's a lot. So I would aim to look for deals when purchasing.

BCAAs are paramount to my workout regime as they stop DOMS and fill in the gaps in my diet when I'm on a cut.

EAAs I've often forgotten about and usually they come separately, so it's great they're included in this all in one drink.

Personally I believe Creatine, BCAAs and your choice of protein powder are the basics for anyone who is serious about their fitness journey.

30 scoops, so basically a months supply for under £20. I think that's alright for a packed supplement like this one, especially one that tastes so nice.

A welcomed addition to my Stack.

I'd seen this range being advertised on socials and wanted to get a non-stim drink which contains a lot of Amino Acids and also has other benefits. The added Magnesium and Coconut water power give me just that. I'll typically mix up a large bottle of this mid-morning and consume before and during my lunchtime workout. Mixes easily in any water jug or sports bottle.

Pineapple flavour is refreshing and i feel that the Coconut water powder helps to re-hydrate me.

I brought whilst a voucher was running and it works out at 0.50p per servings - so can't complain with that.

Will buy again!

Perfect for everyday use and hot days and while working with computers. Helps with headaches and fatigue which sometimes is just issue of electrolytes misbalance in our bodies. Just water is not enough for hydration, it needs other elements to bring it to organs

I've been chugging about a litre of coconut water every day and I love it but it can get a bit pricey. This has coconut water powder in it plus heaps more, so I have substituted this instead. Easy to dissolve in my shaker, I like the flavour (went for Jelly Beans) and find it best in chilled water. Although I do often use caffeine pre workout, I like to be able to make that decision in isolation, therefore appreciate the fact that this doesn't contain caffeine already! Good stuff, recommend.

I was intrigued by the jelly bean flavor of this BCAA and EAA blend, and while it does have a sweet kick, it's a bit too much for my taste. The good news is that it mixes really well—no clumps or weird texture—and it definitely helps with post-workout recovery. I noticed reduced muscle soreness after intense training sessions, which is exactly what I wanted from an amino supplement.

One thing I appreciated was the inclusion of magnesium and coconut water powder, which adds an extra hydration boost. It's especially helpful after a long workout or if you’re someone who sweats a lot. The energy boost is subtle but noticeable, and I felt like my endurance was slightly better when taking this before training.

Overall, it's a solid product with great recovery benefits, but if you’re not a fan of overly sweet flavors, you might want to mix it with extra water to dilute the taste. I’ll continue using it but may try a different flavor next time.

Great product, would recommend

This amino acid powder is a great option for workout recovery and hydration, with a refreshing twist thanks to the jelly beans flavour. The combination of BCAAs and EAAs helps with muscle repair, while the added magnesium and coconut water powder provide extra hydration support. It mixes well without leaving a chalky texture, though the sweetness might be a bit strong for some. It's a good choice for sipping during or after training, especially if you struggle to stay hydrated. If you like fruity, candy-like flavours in your supplements, this one is worth trying.

I use BCAAs for both strength (resistance) training and also for endurance training (cycling). So I always look for BCAAs that are combined with electrolyte mixes, as this is, to ensure effective hydration. I've also tried BCAAs from Optimum Nutrition, BPI and Grenade, so that's my context for comparing this too. Although its competitively priced, the concentration stated (1 scoop for 300ml of water) actually means that a tub doesn't last as long as some other options. However the tub is a good size and the powder arrived nice and dry with no clumping due to the use of multiple silica sachets.

The taste is good, albeit maybe slightly weak unless made at a high concentration. Its also fairly oversweet in an artificial way and personally I would prefer less artificial sweetener, since it can get sickly. The mixability is good if not great - it can 'foam' a little at first when mixing or shaking, but it does settle down quite quickly and the 'head' disappears. The powder is completely dissolved in the water.

All in all its a good product, but I'm not sure that its enough to lure me away from Optimum Nutrition long-term, since I find that less sickly and it also has vitamin C for immunity support and reduced inflammation.

It's been a long while since I last took any BCAA supps. I certainly don't recall when they became clear and fruity. Yet here we are. This is a nice blend and the solubility is good, and so it the price. This is likely to go on the subscription in the near future.

This supplement packs in a solid dose of essential amino acids, and the quantities are definitely in the right range to support recovery. However, there's one major red flag for me: the presence of synthetic food colors, specifically E104 and E110, in the pineapple flavor. After a quick look into these additives, I found that the UK's Food Standards Agency actually advised manufacturers to stop using these colors back in 2008 due to concerns about potential links to hyperactivity in children.

With that in mind, I’m personally not comfortable using this product, and unfortunately, I can't recommend it to others either.

This really tastes like pineapple sherbert. It dissolves easily into cold water, though I'd recommend against using it in fizzy water, as it bubbles up like mad :D.

These amino acids have an interesting bubblegum-esque flavour but they do taste good and the quality is great.

I have repurchased this item multiple times now and even have it on my subscription as it provides essential vitamins minerals and amino acids for my daily activities.

I find if I dissolve it in either a can of coke or some squash it works fine especially good with ice.

It mixes reasonably well but if you put it in a can of fizz it does froth up.

This came in a sealed tub and had an expiry date nine months in the future with a manufacturing date of nine months earlier. Each tub contains thirty servings. It includes a scoop and the powder itself was easy to mix in a vortex mixer leaving no lumps or grit, though it does generate a lot of foam so some patience is required.

I had the fizzy grape flavour. It tastes artificial and is a little sweet but it is palatable. I’ll probably try a different flavour next time. There is no caffeine content so it can be used by those who train late at night.

The contents seem about right and are comparable with other BCAA mixes at the same price point.

I would like to see electrolytes included too but as a BCAA powder I can't complain - it seems good quality, mixes well and has a pleasant flavour (if very sweet)

OK I know taste is subjective, but it doesn't taste anything like Jelly Beans to me and it's just bad. I can't even liken it to anything as it's certainly a new flavour to me. I'm sure someone out there will like it.

But past that, there's a few deal breakers for me:

- Sucralose as a sweetener - should be stevia at this price point in my opinion

- Unnecessary use of colour additives - Brilliant Blue (E133) and Quinoline Yellow (E104) which according to google is not allowed in food products in the USA and Canada. It even goes as far as saying on the tub "May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children".

- It's expensive considering how much you'll likely be going through based on the dosage and the "Before, during & after training" recommendation

I support the use of BCAAs and EAAs, but I'd avoid this alone due to the additives.

Unusual flavour, that tastes more like bubble gum, but still very nice and very tasty. Easy to mix, mixes into the water very easily and you don't need a shaker or mixer, BUT it does leave some clumps. I've found it works best in a big glass, and add the powder first. I would add double the water it recommends, for one water is good for you especially if it tastes of bubble gum, for two, it will be far far too strong tasting otherwise. Nice and good quality fine powder that stays fresh. Good ingredients and good mix of BCAAs and magnesium. Would better with zinc in it, and it is caffeine free so not a true pre-workout or energy drink, but I like that. Good size container, with a decent amount of servings. Quite expensive but decent way to get your magnesium.

This is a full spectrum BCAA and EAA amino acides by USN in 330gram pack. Trusted brand, good quality, nice taste. Satisfied.
