I love these pre work out gels give me so much energy and focus I sweat like a pig . Wouldn't buy anything else

The Pre Workout Gel, Green Apple, 12 x 50g (HYROX Edition) : these pouches are tasty conveniently single servings of energy!

It is clearly stated all over the listing, sachets and box that this is gel but there is nothing gel or jelly like about it, even storing them in the fridge has not given them gel texture. It's the same consistency as squash/cordial.

A very tangy green apple flavour and once you get past the initial show of it *not* being a gel but a liquid I found it quite nice. After trying it for 2 days I did notice it gets a bit sour about half way through a sachet so I mixed it with a small amount of water, like you would kids fruit squash and it was more pleasant to drink.

Sour cherry flavour with a decent caffeine boost. They are compact pouches that fit easy in your pocket or gym bag. I enjoyed the flavour, they are quite sour but I felt the sourness added to the effect of the boost. Much more convenient way to have a preworkout when you drink loads of water during your workout as it means your not needing a wee half way through

i’m a fan of pre-workout drinks and sachets. I've tried quite a few of the last couple of years.

The only liquid gels that I've tried before the ones to take with you when you’re doing some lengthy cardio.

These gel packs are designed to be taken 15 to 30 minutes before workout and contain 230MG caffeine, 1.5g, citrulline malate 1.5 g, beta alanine, obviously, there are more contents than just that, so I've attached a photograph for the back of the sachet which shows a list of all the contents.

One thing is missing is any creatine

If you buy these, it works out around £1.40 per shot with a recommended intake of no more than one a day.

For now I would recommend it, if you are fully aware of the contents and the price

I tried one of these earlier and it was not what I expected, it is not a gel at all It's very much a liquid !!

Easy to drink down.

Definitely a little bit tart and I can see why it's called green apple flavour, nice though..

No itch affect from the beta alanine which is strange , I normally get that side affect quite quickly

Apart from that all is good

The collab we never knew we needed, MyProtein and Hyrox, two huge workout/fitness giants have come together to make some workout related products and I am all here for it.

These pre-workout sachels come in a box of 12. They are easy to open and even easier to store in basically anything given the very small size. Due to the design you can just slurp the pre-workout straight from the sachel without creating a mess and you're off to the races!

The flavour of these sachels was sour cherry and I can definitely test that they were quite sour and cherry flavoured, which I thoroughly enjoyed (though if you wince at sourness, maybe pick a different flavour?).

The consistency of the sachels was more akin to liquid than to gel, however this didn't really bother me.

I could feel the effects of the sachel almost immediately and I was more than ready for my workout.

Do keep in mind that these gels are quite rich in caffeine (230mg) so you may not want to take these in the evening or maybe at all if you cant handle a dose this big.

At the time of writing, this box is £17 for 12 sachels, which works out (up intended) to around £1.42 per sachel, which is by far not the cheapest, however the price is also not outrageous.

Overall, I'm quite happy with these and will definitely go through the whole box in due course.

More of a liquid than a gel. Tastes okay though! It does give you that pre-work out tingle (I didn't find it too intense but everyone is different) so if you don't like that, it wouldn't be the product for you. Would buy again!
