ngl this tastes exactly like a mars bar and I couldn't finish it bc I was surprised how sweet it was. so if you have a sweet tooth and still trying to hit your protein goal and not eat too unhealthy, this is the one

Wow, I absolutely love these salted caramel bars. The people that worked out how to make this confection are absolute geniuses. These are not Mars Bars but definitely part of that family and - for a type two diabetic like me - it is so clever how they can reduce the sugar level down so low and still keep them tasting so delightful. The salted caramel taste is just right without dipping a little too far into that savoury zone like others tend to do. These are a perfect occasional treat for my palate and could not be any better. Economics play very little part in it if I can get my hands on bars as goods as these. The confectionery boffins at Mars are on to an absolute winner by creating these with their phenomenologically impressive wizardry.

They are really nice and certainly boost your protein level

2G sugar per bar, 18G protein per bar, no ridiculously jaw enduring chewiness, no powdery crumbly taste. Thick layer of caramel masks most of the usually tough shell that all protein bars carry. Better than Grenade, Optimum and USN bars I've previously had. I'm also a nut/sesame allergy sufferer and have 0 issues with this bar.

First of all, taste good for sure, however so thick and chunky, takes a while to eat a bar.

Strong taste of raspberry.

Every other protein bar or cookie I've ever tried are too dry and chewy, whereas these are great. 👍

It tastes nothing like a Mars bar.

It is just like all the other relatively unimaginative texture poor chocolate protein bars you could get. It's dry, chewy and largely unpleasant.

Nutritionally I think you could probably get better quality for significantly less price but that's opinion and searching, so expensive for what they possibly because of being branded as Mars. Stick with Grenade, the most palatable ones around, again opinion.

I actually purchased these from another retailer after mine didn't arrive, however felt the need to try it out.

If you do buy, don't put them in the fridge, you’ll lose teeth

Tasty

Just awful. The old version was the same calories and yet tasted akin to the real thing. Great for a protein bar, but the new recipe is very similar to what phd did to theirs years ago, which is taking something soft and creamy and turning into a solid block of grit. How this ever passed internal taste tests I do not know. Only Barebells now offers anything like a decent protein bar in their caramel version, but even those aren't as nice as these used to be. I can only guess it is about using cheaper ingredients, but if I had to sum up: awful. Really awful.

These taste pretty good and have a nice amount of protein in them. But, they give me stomach discomfort and bad wind.

The packaging was poor, the bars were inside the thin card display box and that was packed floating around inside a large plastic bag. The package had been squashed, so the bars were much flatter than they should have been. The chocolate was cracked all round the edges and the caramel had been squeezed out and was all on the inside of the wrapper with none left inside the chocolate.

The pink filling was hard and chewy, granular, not smooth, not at all like the texture of a normal mars bar, certainly not "light and fluffy" as it said in the description. Horrible!

These are really tasty, smooth and, in my opinion, better than the original flavour. Fairly high fat content but you kind of have to accept that if you want a really nice bar.

Great treat after the gym , love that they are low carb and good for my Keto lifestyle 👊🏻

Tasty protein bar

I love mars, I love Salted Caramel and I needed more protein in my diet. This ticks all boxes. A great tasting bar, the smooth caramel and my protein intake is getting the boost i require. Great!

These are quite large and tasty although not as low carbohydrate as I would like It says they are keto friendly but I’m not so sure so limit myself to a quarter of a bar as a treat

These are ok but I was a bit underwhelmed to be honest. You can't really taste the caramel and although the nougat tastes of raspberry, its texture is a bit grainy. The chocolate is not as thick either as on a regular mars bar. Shame as I was really looking forward to trying them.
