Served chilled, this is refreshing drink.

Named as “Tropical Punch” it has a delicious fruity taste with a hint of something reminiscent of Irn-Bru; it isn`t cloyingly sweet and – as should be obvious – its intended as an energy boost.

Out of the can its an amber colour, carbonated but not overly fizzy - so it doesn`t taste like a kid`s drink. I didn`t particularly notice the effects of the caffeine content and the 250ml measure seems just right for the purpose.

Its current price for 24 cans it is about the same as many other energy drinks on the market.

I liked it, it has a pleasant taste and I`m happy to drink it as a useful energy booster.

Tried this twice.

Tasted like bubble gum both times.

First time was before a training ride. Blood pressure up 15 points, pulse about the same, no difference to performance.

Second time was before a late night admin and accounting session. Made no difference to how long or how well I could stay focused.

Given that I only take caffeine about once a month, I expected some a greater effect, particularly during the training ride.

Conclusion: this is just one more sugary drink, like cola. It might be nice mixed with vodka when you've already drunk your tastebuds into a coma.

A rather nice fizzy drink. Not too overpowering with the tropical taste, but enough to enjoy it. This is supposed to be an energy drink, but after drinking a couple of cans, I had a good nights sleep, only waking once to let the darn crying cat out at 1 am. I felt no energy rush, felt no energy boost, did not feel wide awake and refreshed, to me it was just a fizzy drink.

Although it did not taste over sweet, there was a sticky residue left in the glass after drinking.

So for a drink, a nice pleasant choice. For an energy boost, it did not work for me. I must be immune to the caffeine?

Just love the product

Tropical flavour is delicious - the best tasting energy drink I've ever tried. Not the cheapest though, but definitely worth the money if you're in for an energy drink that doesn't taste like pure carbonated sugar. Comes wrapped in a lot of bubble wrap, a downside if you're concerned about plastic, however it means they're packed very securely and won't get damaged in transit.

I usually like sugar free energy drinks... unfortunately I found this gave me not much energy but lots of sugar. Not worth it in my opinion
