Directions

Awful flavour

Avoid this flavour at all costs - now have to endure a months supply of this stuff

Poor quality product

I bought the choco beuno flavour previously with no issue, but I thought let me try a different flavor. So I tried this vanilla flavour, and all I can say is it was one of the worst powders out there. I have a Ninja Blast blender I use to mix this, but after every blend, it comes out clumpy, lumpy, stale-looking looking and I could taste bits in the drink, which was very off-putting. I reported it and got a replacement, which was the same flavour, but it had the same issue as the first one. I do not recommend it as it's very inconsistent. Reported it again and got refunded. (EDIT) No issues with choco bueno or salted caramel no lumps clumps or any inconsistencies.

Me and my wife absolutely love the salted caramel flavour—so tasty it genuinely feels like you’re having a treat rather than a protein shake. We mix it with milk and it turns out smooth, creamy, and delicious every time.

The 2kg tub is great value for money with plenty of servings to last a while, especially if you’re using it daily. It mixes well with both milk and water depending on your preference—milk for a creamier shake, or water when you want something lighter.

It's also really easy to digest—no bloating or heaviness after drinking, which is a big plus for us. Excited to try more flavours soon!

Tastes horrendous. Must be a joke

This may be the worst tasting protein on the market. Absolutely disgusting. Makes me feel very very sick when I drink this. Awful. But if you actually like this flavour something to keep in mind you will have to open this in a sealed room because the smell is so overpowering that if you open this indoors be prepared for everyone to ask wtf is that smell. The smell will fill your whole house and it's not the pleasent popcorn smell it's a strong unnatural aroma that makes everyone comment on the horrendous smell. I bought this a couple of weeks ago and regret having this in my home. Even when sealed the smell escaped. Stick to chocolate or vanilla flavours. I WILL NOT BE PURCHASING PROTEIN PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. 0/10. No value for money here at all as well I feel like I got robbed.

Great shake and value for money

I've been trying different protein shakes and this white bueno flavour is one of my favourite ones I've come across so far. It's great with water for those wanting low calorie shakes, even better with milk. I recommend around 400ml of water/milk, granted you can have more if you wanted but I find that to be the best consistency personally. Great flavour, not grainy like some shakes are and great value for money. Would definitely recommend this one.

I've been using Applied Nutrition Whey Protein for a few weeks now, and overall, it's been a great addition to my daily routine. As someone who's tried a variety of protein powders over the years, I appreciate how straightforward and effective this one is. Here's my honest take:

Taste and Mixability:

I went with the cereal milk flavour , and it's pleasantly mild—not overly sweet or artificial, which I really like. It blends well with water, milk, or even smoothies. The texture is smooth, not chalky, which makes it easy to drink.

Ingredients and Nutrition:

The ingredient list is clean, with no unnecessary fillers or additives. Each serving packs a solid 21g of protein, which is perfect for post-workout recovery or as a snack between meals. I also appreciate that it's low in sugar and doesn't leave me feeling bloated, which has been an issue with some other brands I've tried.

Effectiveness:

I've noticed a difference in my energy levels and muscle recovery since incorporating this into my routine. It's not a miracle product, of course, but it does what it's supposed to do—provides a convenient source of protein to support my fitness goals. I've used it after workouts and as a quick breakfast option, and it keeps me full without weighing me down.

I have bought the Salted caramel flavour and wow it sure is tasty. Be warned though it is very sweet however it suits my taste buds fine. Jar is huge, powder is fine and not clumpy as some powders can be when in the jar. I use ice cold water as a mixer and the powder dissolves fantasticly well with no chunky bits in it...however I do have great protein shakers. The price point for me is great as it is cheaper than most...slightly less protein per scoop but I changed their provided scooper for a bigger one so I get a little more protein per drink...together with slightly higher calories if your counting. Personally I would recommend it as it tastes great and has a great price point. All I can say is Salted caramel is great...cant speak much about their other flavours as haven't tried them.

Not a great after taste

It's mixes well and it's decent value for money but has a really horrible aftertaste. It does not taste like custard at all and wouldn't buy again

Great flavour, easy on the stomach, value for money

Flavour: Salted Caramel

Taste is probably the last thing I mention when I talk about protein shakes because out of all the reasons I choose to drink them, taste is not one of them. This one however is an exception. It smelled great when I opened the lid and I still can't get over how good it tastes. There's no chemical aftertaste or lingering smell. I’ll probably get bored of this flavour in some time but that's a different story.

It mixes well with water and has a creamy texture. I've been using it for the past couple of days and so far haven't experienced any stomach issues.

Some comments have mentioned that Salted Caramel is on the sweeter side but in my opinion it's as sweet as most other flavoured protein powders. The last tub I used was Dymatize ISO (fudge brownie) and that was certainly sweeter than this one, so maybe that's why I’m not complaining about it.

Overall, it's pretty good. Dissolves well, is easy on the stomach, doesn't cost a lot, doesn't have too many ingredients, and has 21 gram of protein per serving (30 gm) which isn't too bad. I totally recommend this.

Good shake, use this as age is catching up, a lot better than some others as the flavour and consistency remains the same between purchases, easy to mix dissolves well and does not leave lumps

Good flavour but becomes sickly

I am a huge fan of ON whey products! This flavour is amazing and the vanilla taste is very strong. I will say though after a while it does become abit sickly so only buy this is you love a strong flavour!
