Feel Supreme NAD+ Booster NR with Astaxanthin

My GYm Supplements's community guidelines do not now allow me to report on my personal experience regarding the efficacy or health effects of products. Therefore, unfortunately, I can not comment on these aspects in this review.

Suffice it to say that I am very happy with these Nicotinamide Riboside and Astaxanthin capsules from Feel Supreme and am likely to buy more. Good ingredients at decent strengths and good value. They are easy to swallow and tasteless with no unpleasant or unwanted side effects so far.

I'm always hestitant to quickly review vitamin supplements or similar, since it can take many months or even years before any benefits or effects of such can be noticed, if at all. However I wanted to give my experiences of using this supplement for the first time after a week.

This is a food supplement which contains 250mg of Nicotinamide Riboside and 4mg of Astaxanthin per capsule. The 'filler' is organic rice flour and the capsule is Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (vegetable HPMC). They are made in the UK and are suitable for vegans.

On the container it mentions to take 1-2 tablets daily with food, but not to consume more than 5 capsules per day. There are 60 in the container, each weighing about 250mg (0.25g). Nicotinamide Riboside is a member of the vitamin B3 family and is found in fruits, vegetables, meat and milk. So I guess it can help you if you are deficient in this although I am no medical expert and so cannot provide any advice on its usage or benefits. However doing a bit of research and you will find it marketed as an anti-aging product. I was therefore curious and keen to give it a go.

The capsules are easy to swallow and are essentially tasteless (unless you decide to chew them) except for a slight herbal leafy fragrance. Certainly not unpleasant in any way. I have been taking a couple of capsules daily with food now for a week. Whilst I cannot say I am feeling like a new person or have noticed any significant changes to my health, I feel that I have a bit more energy and I have been sleeping better in recent days. It is reassuring to know that I am helping to retain my NAD+ levels, something apparently that is essential for optimal health, especially as we age.

These capsules also contain astaxanthin which according to the marketing is way more effective as an antioxidant than vitamin E and richer than green tea. So that has to be a good thing right?

Would I buy them again? Possibly although at the price I would shop around first for any special deals. Looking forward to the next few weeks to see if there is further improvement or benefits.

My experience over these years has solidified my trust in these supplements as a key part of maintaining my vitality and wellness.

I noticed several changes after 2 weeks. My steps were springy going up stairs and I lost 12 lbs without doing anything. Haven't taken it for 10 days and I’m gaining weight without doing anything. Think I’ll go back to taking it daily. NMN doesn't have this effect.

Only negatives is there is no third party tested info included and they are not iso accredited, for that reason I'm gonna stick to my goto brand. Don't be put off by price. This is standard for quality nmn products. It's advised to take on empty stomach with fat, I take with omega 3 dha midday. Astaxanthin is a must for my skin.

Great product. Very easy to take and the packaging is beautiful. Always a good indicator the products from a good company.

I'm taking these because there is some evidence that Nicotinamide Riboside can help with neuropathy. It also contains Astaxanthin, but TBH I have no interest in that.

The capsules are large, but not too large to swallow - I think perhaps they are the "0" size, rather than the larger "00". They are flavourless.

It's impossible to say anything about effects yet, but I'll update this review later if there is any change.

Nicotinamide Riboside is quite expensive, and this brand is no different there - but the price seems comparable to others.
